Earnhardt Jr. expressed his enthusiasm on social media, stating, “Also if we’re getting a proper, updated ARCA car, let’s get some proper ARCA dirt tracks for the schedule! DuQuoin and Illinois State Fairgrounds. Each would make for some wicked good fun in a sprint car, too.”
He further revealed that efforts are already underway to bring these tracks to life in iRacing. “I connected iRacing and Illinois State Fairgrounds for a scan. It was scheduled for this year but unsure if it was completed. The service absolutely needs a one-mile dirt oval. Think of the hosted combos we could have with it!”
Fans of both NASCAR and iRacing are thrilled by Earnhardt Jr.’s endorsement, with many eagerly anticipating the potential addition of these historic tracks to the game. The inclusion of such iconic locations would offer an exciting new challenge for virtual racers, allowing them to experience the thrill of ARCA racing on dirt.
