Shawn and Carrie Purdy welcomed Brock into the world on December 27, 1999, in Queen, Arizona. He is the middle child; his younger brother,
Preston, also known as Chubba, played football, while his older sister, Whittney, played softball at Southeastern University. Since his father was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1987 minor league draft, Brock has always been athletic.
Born just two months earlier on October 26, 1999, Jenna grew up in Sumner, Iowa, with her three siblings, Kylen, Morgan, and Isiah, as well as her parents, Kevin and Amy. She was raised in an athletic family as well. She participated in track and field and club volleyball. According to accounts, her brother is also an athlete, and her sisters were volleyball players.
