Major Injury Report: Broncos post another blank injury report Thursday…
The Denver Broncos are heading into their Week 1 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in excellent shape, with a clean bill of health across their roster. Following Wednesday’s blank injury report, the team posted another perfect participation at Thursday’s practice, a rare feat in the NFL.
One key player, safety Brandon Jones, who missed most of training camp due to a hamstring injury, was given a positive health update by head coach Sean Payton. After Wednesday’s practice, Payton commented on Jones’ progress, stating, “Good. He was good moving out there today. He’s feeling well. His testing numbers and all the metrics that come back relative to it are going well.”
While the Broncos’ active roster remains healthy, there are a few players sidelined on the injured reserve (IR) list. Cornerback Damarri Mathis (ankle), linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles), and safety Delarrin Turner-Yell (ACL) are currently on IR/PUP and will be eligible to return after four games.
The Broncos will conduct another practice on Friday before releasing their final injury report, which will outline the official game statuses for Sunday’s opener against Seattle. Fans are optimistic as Denver looks to kick off their season with a fully fit roster.
