After scoring a 64-yard touchdown, Williams celebrated by diving backward into the end zone and grabbing his crotch, mimicking a gesture made famous by former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.
This is the second time this season that Williams has been fined for a touchdown celebration. Earlier, he was fined $14,069 for dunking the ball over the goalpost after a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4.
Williams has been a significant contributor to the Lions’ offense this season, setting career highs with 538 receiving yards and four touchdowns. His dynamic playmaking ability has been instrumental in the team’s success.
